At Fastidious Shots, we strive to capture candid moments, real emotions, and fun, all while providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our customers. We take pride in our ability to capture the perfect image and provide our customers with a lasting memory.

 

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I have always had an appreciation for the art of photography. In 2001, I began sneaking candid photos of family and friends and quickly discovered my passion for capturing life's moments. In 2003, I secured a job as a photographer with Kodak at Disney's Epcot in Florida. However, it wasn't until the sudden loss of my grandmother in 2010 that I truly realized the power of photography. As I reviewed the candid shots I had taken of her, I knew I wanted to help others create lasting memories. I am a self-taught photographer, continuously researching to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the field. I'm proud to have been a professional photographer for over a decade.

 

What do you love most about your job? I love that photography allows me to capture moments in time that can never be replicated. It’s a way of preserving memories that can be shared with others and treasured forever. I also love the creative aspect of photography – the ability to create unique and beautiful images that tell a story. The challenge of capturing the perfect shot and creating something special is incredibly rewarding. I also love the fact that no two photos are ever the same and that the possibilities are endless. Photography allows me to explore my ideas and express my artistic vision.

 

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? 

Years ago, I had a maternity session with a new customer and the reaction I got was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. She was so overwhelmed with joy that she was moved to tears. She thanked me for making her feel beautiful again and said that she hadn't felt that way in a long time. It was truly an amazing experience and I was so touched by her reaction that I decided not to charge her for the session. It was an honor to be able to capture such an important moment in her life.
