Q: What services does your business offer, and what makes it stand out from the competition?
At Fastidious Shots, we specialize in capturing candid moments, authentic emotions, and the fun in every experience. Our priority is to ensure that every session is comfortable and enjoyable for our clients. We take pride in our ability to go beyond simply taking photos. We create lasting memories that our clients will treasure forever.
Q: What inspired you to start your business?
My love for photography began in 2001 when I started sneaking candid photos of family and friends, discovering my passion for capturing life’s most precious moments. By 2003, I turned that passion into a job as a photographer for Kodak at Disney’s Epcot in Florida.

On December 31, 2010, I experienced a pivotal moment after the sudden loss of my grandmother. While reviewing candid shots I had taken of her, I realized the immense value of preserving memories. That experience fueled my desire to help others create lasting moments through photography. As a self-taught photographer, I have spent over a decade perfecting my craft, continuously learning, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry.
Q: What do you love most about your job?
I love that photography allows me to freeze moments in time, moments that can be revisited, shared, and treasured forever. The creative side of photography excites me too. Each session is an opportunity to craft unique, beautiful images that tell a story. No two photos are ever the same, and the challenge of creating something meaningful and personal for each client is what makes my work so rewarding.
Q: What is the best reaction you have ever gotten from a customer?
One of the most touching experiences I have had was with a maternity client. She was so overwhelmed with joy during the session that she cried, telling me it was the first time in a long time she felt truly beautiful. Her reaction deeply moved me, and as a gesture of appreciation, I decided not to charge her for the session. Capturing such an important moment in her life was a privilege, and her gratitude remains one of the highlights of my career.

Q: Have you received any notable recognition for your work?
Yes, I have been fortunate to have my work featured on book covers, in national publications such as Sophisticate's Black Hair magazine, on flyers, and on billboards. These opportunities have been incredible milestones, and I am deeply grateful for the recognition my photography has received.

While I have been honored to see my work featured in publications and on billboards, these milestones do not define me. My focus remains on creating timeless and meaningful memories while building personal connections through photography.
