At Fastidious Shots, we strive to capture candid moments, real emotions, and fun, all while providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our customers. We take pride in our ability to capture the perfect image and provide our customers with a lasting memory.

 

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I  have always had an appreciation for the art of photography. In 2001, I started to sneak candid photos of family and friends, and I quickly discovered my passion for capturing life's moments. After the sudden loss of my grandmother in 2010, I sat and reviewed all the candid shots I had taken of her. At that moment, I knew I wanted to help create lasting memories for others. I am self-taught and continue to do research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in photography. I'm proud to say that I've been a professional photographer for over a decade.

 

What do you love most about your job? I love that photography allows me to capture moments in time that can never be replicated. It’s a way of preserving memories that can be shared with others and treasured forever. I also love the creative aspect of photography – the ability to create unique and beautiful images that tell a story. The challenge of capturing the perfect shot and creating something special is incredibly rewarding. I also love the fact that no two photos are ever the same and that the possibilities are endless. Photography gives me the opportunity to explore my ideas and express my artistic vision.

 

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? I while back I had a maternity session with a new customer and the reaction I got was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. She was so overwhelmed with joy that she was moved to tears. She thanked me for making her feel beautiful again and said that she hadn't felt that way in a long time. It was truly an amazing experience and I was so touched by her reaction that I decided not to charge her for the session. It was an honor to be able to capture such an important moment in her life.
